Not sure how you know Adrian would have saved them, but you could also say he saved a few shots that Adrian would have let in.

Swings and Roundabouts!

Re: Joe Hart
A 50% save percentage is not better than Adrian. I won't say he caused Tottenham's 3rd goal but he was appalling on the free kick that preceded it, and the shot bounced twice before getting past him to his left.

especially as he is on 175k per week and we are supposedly footing 100-125k of that.

Re: Joe Hart
All I know is 6 games in Adrian would have pulled off at least one stunning save and Hart hasn't made one that I can remember.

Re: Joe Hart

the one thing I will say is that pulling of a stunning save doesn't always mean you're a good keeper. quite often it could mean that your position isn't great and therefore you are flying across goal to make up for it. so as a generalisation it's a bit like saying that carragher made some great last ditch tackles, but reality it was often because he was caught out of position or players got past him too easily.

I am sorry to say he is not what he was, an English goalkeeper being so poor at crosses is almost tragic

Hugely overrated and haven't brought us anything more than we already had, except a bigger wage bill.

If he was wank he wouldn't have achieved the success he has

Can't understand the negativity behind having him after the last 2 keepers being inconsistent and poor the last 2 years

Re: Joe Hart
It's a lot easier to look good when you are surrounded by world class players worth many tens of millions each. And just because a player once was good, that doesn't mean they will always remain so.

For £100-120k per week he has not impressed me so far.

Re: Joe Hart
What is it with some of you about this obsession with Adrian?

The bloke cost us so many points last season yet people are still insisting Adrian should be playing in front of Hart. You have the England goalkeeper playing for your club and there are people slagging the bloke off constantly. For what reason?
Has he cost us any points so far? Are there any goals that have been his fault so far? I'm struggling to recall any.

Some of the bollocks people come out with on this site is laughable.

Having the keystone cops in front of you dont help Spurs first 2 goals a point in case last week. Should have stopped the 3rd tho
